Versus
Versus adds product comparison to WooCommerce. Shoppers collect products from shop listings and the product page, and Versus shows them in a side-by-side table with the differences highlighted.
Why stores pick Versus
Section titled “Why stores pick Versus”Versus lines products up in one accessible table with difference highlighting — no jQuery, guest lists and account merge on login. Shoppers compare specs on your store instead of juggling browser tabs. The free edition is full side-by-side comparison under GPL.
Highlights
Section titled “Highlights”- A compare button added automatically on shop listings and the single product page, each placement toggled independently.
- A side-by-side comparison table: image, name, price, SKU, availability and short description, plus a row per product attribute.
- Difference highlighting with a show-only-differences toggle.
- Comparison lists for guests and logged-in customers, merged into the account on login.
- A configurable cap of 2-6 products per list; the oldest item is removed when the cap is exceeded.
- Plain-JavaScript front end with no jQuery, accessible buttons and ARIA attributes.
How comparison works
Section titled “How comparison works”The compare button toggles a product on the shopper’s list. Guests get a per-browser list; logged-in customers get a Compare tab in My Account, and a guest list is merged into the account on login. The comparison table renders each product as a column and highlights rows whose values differ, so shoppers can focus on what actually separates the products.
Editions
Section titled “Editions”- Free on WordPress.org. Side-by-side product comparison with difference highlighting and guest and customer lists.
- Pro for a comparison-page shortcode (
[versus_compare]), a sticky compare bar on listings, and (planned) configurable rows, category scope and export.
Polski overlap
Section titled “Polski overlap”Polski includes product comparison. Do not install Versus if that module is enabled. See Standalone storefront plugins in Polski.
