Price-drop / back-in-stock alerts
Section titled “Price-drop / back-in-stock alerts”[shortlist_price_alerts] — logged-in shoppers opt in for the active list. Shortlist → Price Alerts enables price-drop and back-in-stock emails; an hourly cron checks subscriptions (PriceAlertCron).
For dedicated product-page waitlists, the free Restock plugin may be a better fit.
