Marks Pro

Marks Pro extends the free Marks plugin. It requires Marks installed and active; it is distributed through Freemius, not WordPress.org.

Marks → Scheduled Badges — define campaign badges with a label, background and text colours, an optional start/end window, and targeting by product, category or tag. Empty schedule = always on; empty targets = store-wide. Renders on the shop loop and single-product pages.

Marks → Settings → Global conditional badge rules — add store-wide rules that render a styled badge when a product matches:

  • Belongs to a selected category
  • Price is greater than a threshold
  • Price is less than a threshold
  • Stock is less than or equal to a quantity

Each rule has a label, colour style (accent, success, warning, danger, neutral) and an active toggle. Rules render independently of the free BadgeEngine.

Product editor Badges tab — set an Image badge URL (PNG/SVG recommended) to show a certification or brand logo on that product. Renders at 24px tall with aspect ratio preserved on the shop loop and single-product pages. Stored in _marks_image_badge_url product meta.

Marks → A/B Label Sets — define competing badge labels (minimum two variants), scope to the store, a category or a product, and rotate variants across visitors. Sticky 30-day visitor assignment; impression counts per variant in admin (AbLabelSetService, AbStatsRepository).

  • WordPress 6.4+, WooCommerce 8.0+, PHP 8.1+.
  • Free Marks plugin active.
  • Marks Pro licensed through Freemius.

The free plugin provides automatic and manual CSS badges. PRO adds scheduled campaigns, conditional store-wide rules, per-product image badges and A/B label testing for promotion-driven stores.
